Lauren Chattman has written a delightful new book called Mom's Big Book of Baking: 200 Simple, a favorite family BirthdayParties infallible, baked Sales and more. Like many mothers who have a very busy agenda and to be totally honest here, the kitchen is really a safe and friendly place I found me.Â, however, that Lauren Chattman baking recipes really are easy and even I do them.Â

I love Cake – I can not myself. But I do not like any kind of cake. It has to be yellow cake. So I thought I would try to do the classic yellow cake cupcakes (o) of Chapter on birthdays and chose to do Beyond. cupcakes instead of a cake, because I felt more comfortable with my cans of biscuits that I made with my cake recipe pans. thata was so easy I could not believe what No go toa luck. cupcake without frosting for a party that capped my freshly baked goods birthday cake with vanilla frosting. I love a party! My friends could not believe my talent discovered.

I felt very safe in the category of desserts, so I decided to make my son an apple with spices and raisin turnovers are Mom's chapter ONA Apple Pie.  The sweet tart dough recipe is easy to prepare, as was the filling. My kitchen smelled divine as the turnover is baking. The turnovers are a guardian.

I invited my best friend (and your waffle maker) for the Sunday breakfast a couple of weeks ago, so I could try one of the waffle recipes the Beyond the Refrigerator Case Section ofa the book. After much deliberation we chose gingerbread waffles. I think it may have a new career here and my friends list is constantly growing.

I plan to do more baking in the coming weeks.ES on my list to try are pan pizza dough, cornbread, crackers, oatmeal cookies, and brownies instant microwave home.

I liked the hours of tips and techniques offered in each chapter and that the information on mail order and online resource. The only complaint I have about this book is that it contains color photos of the recipes – a feature I really appreciate since I am a beginner in the kitchen .. to
